I read this book a few months ago (actually, I listened to it). It is a fun read/listen as it is written like a
novel rather than a business book. The objective is for the reader to learn a better way to live that leads to greater personal and business health.

The main character has a medical event that gets his attention, and a guide appears to lead him on a journey of self discovery and enlightenment.
I think most of you will say to yourself – “I wish I had read this a long time ago”

Transforming the business always starts with transformation of the leader.
Most of the time, I have found that business leaders struggle with the fact that if they want
different outcomes then they need to change their behaviors.
This fits with the core concept in Jocko Willink’s book “Extreme Ownership”. Basically, if we are not achieving the mission, then we need to own the failure and change something about
ourselves and adjust our leadership. |
