We don’t have time to be perfect but we have plenty of time for continuous improvement. Missing out on the objective by trying to perfect the work product can lose customers, waist overhead, and kill profits. I’m not talking about putting out a shoddy product or service, but don’t lose sight of the objective and assuring that the mission is accomplished on time.

Many times perfectionists are procrastinators. Start early, plan the work, and execute on a reasonable timeline to get the work done as promised. Communicate with the client and your team regarding the status and manage expectations.
